The Viewing Window displays a file where matches, highlighted by default as bold blue text, have been found. To jump between matches use the Next and Previous commands. For text files the line numbers can be displayed while for binary files the hexadecimal address is shown. If you always want a file shown initially in a maximized window select the Always maximize command.

Selected text can be copied to the clipboard using the Copy command.

The default highlighting can be changed by the Colours command. When a viewing window is active the status bar will indicate the number of matches and the total number of pages produced if the file is sent to the printer.

Right clicking on this window will produce a popup menu with the following menu commands.
