Here you can choose how you wish to view files when double clicking with the left mouse button on the Search Window. You can choose between viewing files with the programs internal viewer, viewing files with their associated application or viewing files with an editor of your choice. The default editor is Notepad.
If your editor supports it, then Examine32/Examine64 Text Search will let you direct your editor to the exact position of the match selected. If a filename is selected rather than a line containing a particular match, then your editor will display the file at the beginning.
If there is no associated application for the file you wish to view, you can select an alternative default method of viewing the file.

Editor name |
You can change your editor by directly typing in its full pathname here. If the pathname contains one or more spaces then the path must be within double quotes.
If your editor supports it, then the program will let you direct your editor to the exact position of the match selected. This is achieved using the <file>, <line> and <col> phrases in the command line. <file> will insert the current filename into the command line, <line> the current line, and <col> the current column position.
